I have a broad range of interests, but the most important, by far, is that of the fast-approaching Kingdom of God. This is the only reason for these Homo sapiens bodies -- to prepare us for that day. So, we should not become too attached to anything we do in this world.

It troubles me that so many are attached to fixed ideas regarding the Bible -- both believer and skeptic, alike. For I have discovered great wisdom in the Bible that others have not yet seen or discussed. It humbles me that there is so much more to be found.

"If deciphering wisdom hidden in the Bible elicits the very thing the Bible is hoping we will achieve—humility under God—then one can easily assume that every effort would have been made to hide a great amount of wisdom therein" (The Bible's Hidden Wisdom, a book in progress).

As a Hollywood artist, under the name, Carl Martin, I have had several one-person shows including at a Bonaventure art gallery downtown Los Angeles, and at the world-famous Griffith Observatory. I have produced background art for two-time Academy Award-winning designer, Saul Bass, on the Ray Bradbury short film, "Quest."

As a writer, I have published one novel, co-authored with John Dalmas (Touch the Stars: Emergence, Tor Books), and have won first-place awards -- for the essay, "Outsiderness in the Scientific Community" (Krupnick Award), and for the short story, "Toady" (Dutton Books Award).

Gaining a bachelor's degree in information technology, summa cum laude, I have worked for Bank of America, Control Data/Ceridian, Global Database Marketing and IPRO Tech. From my lifelong fascination with astronomy, I created 3D astronomy space software, Stars in the NeighborHood.

My most important project involves years of exegetical research, particularly investigations into the meanings of Genesis. By the grace of God, I discovered a Genesis Code that reveals a timeline compatible with those found in science. It also reveals the Kabbalah's "Tree of Life" embedded in two chapters of Genesis. And it reveals the true identity of the "daughters of men" whose influence led to Noah's Flood. My upcoming book, The Bible's Hidden Wisdom, God's Reason for Noah's Flood, is currently in the proposal stage under the pen name, Rod Martin, Jr.

Another project important to me is the Atlantis quest to find scientific evidence in support of Plato's lost island empire. It's possible the story will remain myth, but already we have proof of an Atlantis-like event, right when Plato said the island was swallowed by the sea.
